For lovers of the music of today, there will be four world premieres at the Festival this year! Bastien David takes a new look at the concerto genre, with two solo cellists, in L’Ombre d’un doute Bruno Mantovani highlights Colin Currie’s percussion brilliance, in Allegro barbaro and Yan Maresz juxtaposes a modern violin and a Baroque orchestra, in Tendances. Finally, don’t miss Michel Petrossian and Aram Hovhannisyan’s duo premiere – with Seven, the Angels of Sinjar the composers have concocted a colorful ballet, choreographed by Michel Hallet Eghayan.
