Artists Michel Dalberto and Quatuor Diotima are particularly highlighted on the opening and closing dates of this Printemps des Arts. Michel Dalberto will display his pianistic versatility in three directions, playing a solo recital, orchestral concertos, and a duet with baritone Edwin Crossley-Mercer in a subtle programme of melodies and lieder. As for the Diotima Quartet, they will travel a century of chamber music from the turn of the 20th century to the present day, from Béla Bartók’s String Quartet No.1  to works by György Ligeti, Steve Reich, and Philippe Schoeller’s new piece.
